What is competitive
Competitive club cheerleading is when cheer teams compete against each other at a competition.
At a typical cheerleading competition, teams perform a 2 and a half minute (or 2min depending on the age/skill level) routine that includes stunts, jumps, dance and tumbling. Teams are judged by a panel of cheerleading experts on difficulty and execution.
club cheerleading teams, who are not affiliated with a school, exist solely to compete. these routines do not include a cheer since they don’t technically cheer for anyone, and their routines are all set to a custom music mix specifically for that routine. Teams compete based on age and difficulty level.
here at mi storm, we have teams at all levels, so whether you're a seasoned veteran or just starting out, we have a place for you!
THE SPORT OF COMPETITIVE CLUB CHEERLEADING ALSO TEACHES VALUABLE LIFE LESSONS. OUR MOTTO IS THAT WE ARE "BUILDING MORE THAN JUST PYRAMIDS" BECAUSE WE FIRMLY BELIEVE IN COACHING THE ATHLETES NOT TO JUST HAVE BETTER JUMPS, BUT TO BE A BETTER VERSION OF THEMSELVES. TIME MANAGEMENT, SELF CONFIDENCE, SELF RELIANCE, TRUST, TEAMWORK, RESPECT, AND INTEGRITY ARE JUST SOME OF WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL LEARN AT STORM.
You do not have to have previous experience to compete on one of our teams but you do have to have an evaluation so that we can put you on the team that best suits your ability. if you would like to set up an evaluation for your child, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
